from a crooked government trying to raise the stakes

are forcefully ended with the crack of a gun
they tell you that it's tragic and there's nothing to be done

and the NRA condolences painfully hover

and the ghost of every single kid that's taken by a gun
shall haunt those lobby bastards until their days are done
